The v1.63 update of Gran Turismo 7 was released on 25 September 2025. 5 cars, 5 events, and 10 engine swaps were added to the game. Additionally, changes were made to the hybrid system of the Chevrolet Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept, and a Sport Mode bug where the slipstream setting was displaying incorrectly was fixed.
The update was released on a Wednesday instead of the usual Thursday slot so as not to conflict with Sony's September 2025 State of Play program, in which Kazunori Yamauchi appeared.
The Opel VGT included in this update was announced prior to the regular update cycle, via a press release from Opel on 20 August 2025[1].
